Amaç ve Görevlerimiz
AMACIMIZ
Üniversitenin bilim, teknoloji transferi veyenilikçilik birikimini merkezi bir yapı çerçevesinde toplayarak; bilgiyi, yenive rekabetçi ürünler veya süreçlere dönüştürmeyi, katma değer oluşturmayı,sanayiye aktarmayı ve ticarileştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Bu amaç doğrultusunda,bilim insanları ve sanayi şirketlerinin ulusal ve uluslararası araştırma destekprogramları ve hibe fonlarından yararlanmasını sağlayarak kamu ve özel sektörkuruluşlarının teknolojik, yenilikçilik, araştırma ve geliştirme yeteneklerininartırılmasını hedeflemektedir. Sanayi kuruluşlarının Üniversite ileişbirliklerinin artırılmasında ara yüz görevi yaparak, üniversiteöğrencilerine, öğretim üyelerine ve topluma yönelik girişimcilik eğitimivermeyi ve gerçekleştirdiği faaliyetleri sürdürülebilir ölçülerde nitelik venicelik yönünden arttırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Yapılan faaliyetlerle teknolojitransferini bireysel, kurumsal, bölgesel, ulusal ve uluslararası düzeydesağlayarak bilgi birikiminin zenginleşmesini, teknoloji geliştirme yeteneğinin pekişmesini,teknoloji geliştirme ve yenilik kültürünü oluşturarak ülkenin rekabetgücünü uluslararası alanda artırmaktır.
GÖREVLERİMİZ
- Üniversitear-ge stratejilerinin tanımlanmasına katkı vermek
- Üniversitenin ar-ge politikave stratejilerine uyumlu olarak çalışmak
- Üniversiteiçerisinde ulusal ve uluslararası ar-ge fonlarının tanıtımını yapmak ve bufonlardan daha fazla yararlanabilmek adına eğitim,seminer, çalıştay ve benzeri etkinlikler düzenlemek, proje hazırlama,başvuru, yürütme ve izlemede destek olmak
- Üniversiteiçerisinde proje yazma ve yönetme kültürünün geliştirilmesine katkı sağlamak
- Ar-ge ve yenilikçilikle ilgiliolarak kamu ve özel sektör ile işbirliği yapmak
- Üniversiteiçinde ve dışında teknoloji transferi ile ilgili konularda tanıtım,bilgilendirme ve eğitim hizmetleri vermek
- Üniversiteve sanayi işbirliğini geliştirmek adına üniversite ve sanayi tarafındapotansiyeli, fırsatları ve benzerlerini ortaya koyan analiz, tanıtım, etkinlikve benzeri çalışmalar yapmak ve ayrıca kontratlı projelere aracılık etmek
- Üretilen bilgi ve yapılan buluşlarıfikri mülkiyet kapsamında koruma altına almak ve uygulamaya aktarmak
- Üniversiteiçi şirketleşme ve girişimcilik hizmetleri vermek ve bu kapsamda destek olmak
- Yıllık faaliyet raporunu hazırlamakve her yılın ocak ayı sonuna kadar senatonun uygun görüşüyle birlikteYükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığına sunmak
- Uluslararasıüniversitelerin Teknoloji Transfer Ofisleri ile işbirliği içerisinde çalışarakulusal/uluslararası paydaşların (yerli/yabancı şirket, üniversite gibi) olduğuçalışma ortamları hazırlamak
- Yapılanar-ge çalışmaları sonucunda oluşturulan bilginin korunması için fikrive sınai haklar hakkında bilgilendirme çalışmaları yapmak
- Yürütülenfaaliyetlere ilişkin üç yıllık stratejik plan yaparak her yıl stratejik planilerleme raporu hazırlamaktır.

Service Module forAwareness, Promotion, Information and Training
- Introducing the Technology Transfer Office activities to students, academicians and entrepreneurs in our region and organizing events such as training, seminars and workshops,
- Announcement of project calls and supports of various institutions in different fields by preparing written and visual content on social media accounts and on the website,
- Conducting one-on-one meetings with institutions and individuals in order to promote the technology transfer office,
- Holding organizations on new technologies and R&D issues and various information events for university-industry cooperation.
Service Module forBenefiting from Support Programs
- Information, project planning and administrative support procedures for universities and the business world to benefit from various grant support programs,
- Supporting new information and technologies to be produced at the university within the scope of national and international research projects,
- Carrying out licensing
and commercialization activities that will create added value for the
Technology Transfer Office.
Service Module forProject Development/Management (University Industry Collaboration)
- Ensuring that the academic knowledge of universities is used in R&D projects in the sector,
- Determining the needs of companies using various communication tools and channels and designing projects,
- Finding researchers who will support the determined projects,
- Creating contracts for cooperation,
- Coordination services to be provided during the execution of projects.
Service Module for IntellectualProperty Rights Management and Licensing
- Determining projects and studies that can be evaluated within the scope of intellectual property at universities,
- Making decisions such as confidentiality, know-how and registration within the framework of intellectual property management,
- Registration procedures (utility model, patent, etc.),
- Marketing and licensing of intellectual property and transferring usage information to the user/customer.
Service Module forIncorporation and Entrepreneurship
- Supporting entrepreneurial activities to be carried out by academicians to bring new products and technologies to the economy,
- Providing services such as consultancy and training to academicians with R&D ideas on subjects such as project design, marketing, legal and administrative procedures.
Livestock TechnologiesIncubation Center Started to Serve in MAKÜ-Baka Teknokent Building
LivestockTechnologies Incubation Center has implemented with the 'Development of RegionalDevelopment-Oriented Livestock Projects and Bringing them to Commercial Lifewith the Incubation Center' Project with the financial support provided by theWestern Mediterranean Development Agency of the Republic of Turkey within thescope of the 2022 Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Financial SupportProgram and it is at the service of all our academicians, students andentrepreneurs with its meeting room, book reading area, workshop, virtual studyroom, classroom and cafeteria.

You caneasily hold your meetings with the large table, projector, projection screen,computer and printers in the meeting room.
BookReading Area
You canbenefit from various resources on different subjects in the book reading area,carry out your personal studies, read your books and review your documents.
Workshop
You canget service for the model of the project in many sectors such as industrialmanufacturing, medicine, aviation and space, architecture, construction,textile and military applications through our experts from the 3D printer inthe workshop, you can create your own models on equipped computers and useother materials in the workshop.
VirtualStudy Room
You canmake all kinds of designs and models using state-of-the-art laptops and desktopcomputers and high-speed internet facilities, and also carry out youronline studies individually or in groups.
Classroom
Ouracademicians can teach the courses according to their fields of expertise totheir students in a classroom with a capacity of 10 people and they can shareall kinds of documents related to the lessons with their students using theprinter in the room.
Cafeteria
The spacious and eye-catching cafeteria offers its users a good break and relaxationopportunity after the hard work carried out at the Livestock TechnologiesIncubation Center.
