With the Incubation Center to be Established at MAKÜ, the Transfer of Studies in the Field of Animal Husbandry to Commercial Life is Gaining Momentum!
Within the scope of the Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Program, a preliminary evaluation meeting was held for the Incubation Center Protocol Ceremony and the Animal Husbandry Technologies R&D and Innovation Festival (HAYTEKFEST) at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), which has signed qualified and pioneering projects in the field of animal husbandry.
The meeting, where the protocol signatures of the project "Development of Regional Development-Oriented Animal Husbandry Projects and Bringing Them to Commercial Life with the Incubation Center" were signed, was attended by MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Adem KORKMAZ, Vice Rector Responsible for Animal Husbandry Project Prof. Dr. Hüseyin DALGAR, Secretary General of Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA) Volkan GÜLER, Burdur Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet TUĞRUL, MAKÜ Technology Transfer Office officials and relevant academicians. At the meeting, MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Adem KORKMAZ emphasized the importance of the HAYTEKFEST event, which aims to bring together the animal husbandry sector and technology and will be held on March 09-11, 2023, while Vice Rector Responsible for Animal Husbandry Project Prof. Dr. Hüseyin DALGAR provided information about the work done so far and the future activities to be carried out regarding the said event. Secretary General of Western Mediterranean Development Agency Volkan Güler and Burdur Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Tuğrul also expressed their satisfaction with the work done and stated that they are always ready to cooperate for the activities carried out.
