The aim of the call is the transfer of technologies that emerge as a result of research, development, and innovation projects carried out by higher education institutions, research infrastructures, public institutions, public research centers and institutes, and early-stage technology companies, and are protected by patents, to capital companies based in Turkey through licensing or transfer.
In the 1702-Patent Based Technology Transfer Support Call, universities, research infrastructures, technology development zone companies, and technology transfer offices are qualified as Technology Provider Institutions. The Customer Institution, on the other hand, is defined as a capital company based in Turkey that aims to create economic value by acquiring technologies owned by the Technology Provider Institution and protected by national or international patents through licensing or transfer. Within the scope of the call, joint applications of at least one Technology Provider Institution and a Customer Institution will be accepted.
In the call, where the basic support rate is 25%, an additional 15% support will be provided to institutions that qualify as SMEs. The deadline for applying to the program is set as May 25, 2022, and the call will close on June 2, 2022. For detailed information, click here.
